Daytime temps in parts of France are expected to reach the mid 40s, with overnight lows offering little, if any, respite. Spain, Belgium, and Germany are also expecting to see a persistent heatwave grip cities there, with daily temperatures above 32°C for at least the next six days. Although the heatwave will be relatively short-lived, its intensity is causing grave concern.
